Pillow Pets

No this isn't about the actual ‘Pillow Pets’ (which are actually super awesome and I have one back in AUS!) And now after staring at the photo below i realise how fitting this post really is; there are pillows, and there are pets (penguin toys.. but close). So as I am sitting at home for a few hours between shifts at work… I decided to lie on my bed, and my pillows are so cold and so fluffy and so inviting and why does this have to happen now! When I have to go back to work in 1 hour! 

And yes... My bed is not made

I love pillows so much; I love my bed to be covered with lots of pillows and fluffy cuddly things. And I LOVE when my pillows are cold, like in the morning when you go to get out of bed but don’t want to because it’s so cold and you still feel super tired and then you put your hand under your pillow and feel how cold it is and you flip it over and my gosh you could just lay there on that cold fluffy pillow forever. THAT is what dreams are made of.

The Travel Bug

One year ago today, August 28th 2013, was the day I decided to say goodbye to my beautiful family and friends to go on the Biggest adventure of my life so far. At only 20 years of age, I left for the US and CANADA for 8 months by myself.

 
I have always loved travelling, and this defiantly wasn't my First Time, but it was going to be the biggest experience I have done on my own so far! Little did I know, that not only would I experience so many life changing things, but that I would still be in Canada right now as i write this post, almost a year later, and not leaving any time soon! I have to say i have slowly gotten used to this Canadian life, which ill post more about another time.  I tend to get very fidgety staying in one place for too long. Knowing how many places there are in the world that I have never seen before, and some never even heard of! So stay tuned for where i may be off to next !
